Salary: 23,000 - 33,000 GBP (7 Apr 2017)

An enthusiastic and reliable AV Engineer is required to join our specialist audio visual company, which specializes in high quality design and installation of whole-home audio, video, lighting, home cinema and much more, for high-end residential properties.

The successful candidate will join the existing team in delivering exceptional installations, to include: design, programming and diagnostics, cable installation and termination, installation of items of audio visual equipment, and equipment rack building.

We are keen to hear from AV Engineers located within easy reach of London.

Responsibilities:
- Setup and programming of simple and complex lighting and whole-home control systems
- Deliver exceptional installations, to include: cable installation and termination, installation of items of audio video equipment, equipment rack building and occasional minor 'making good' tasks
- Being a face of our company; attending job sites on your own for installation and diagnostic purposes, as well as to service existing AV systems, inclusive of problem-solving and troubleshooting

Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge and experience are essential for this role, particularly with Control4 and/or Lutron systems
- Good networking skills required and additional experience with door entry, telephony etc. is desirable
- Diagnostic ability and experience, including strong problem-solving skills
- Experience servicing existing AV systems Enthusiasm for AV technology and the future of our Industry
- High standard of personal presentation
- Professional and approachable attitude to clients and other tradespeople
- Share our passion for processes and procedures
- Tidy and organised approach to work
- Ability to work with initiative and consider installations and issues in the wider context of the whole project and the client's user experience
- Autonomy to work on your own or lead a small team on a client project

Qualifications:
- GCSE Grade C in Maths and high level of written and spoken English
- Clean full UK driving license
- CEDIA, Infocom or other relevant industry-recognised qualifications are desirable
